
Document and present new product designs along with thermal, mechanical, and electrical analyses.
Lead design of manufacturable battery cells through conception, prototype assembly, and validation testing. He or she must hold a Bachelor of Science or a more advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate is hard-working, team-work oriented, innovative, and self-motivated with a diverse set of design and process skills. Moreover, it requires collaborative work with the Product Engineering team to enable downstream integration of battery cell into pack assembly and the final product. At the same time, it entails close coordination with Operations counterparts to ensure DFM principles and production verification. The position is part of a passionate Technology team that owns Natron's core competencies. The projects span refinements of Natron's current designs, as well as future offerings in company product roadmap. The candidate will lead projects using stage-gate focused approaches including feasibility, proof-of-concept prototyping, design validation testing, and technology transfer for high-volume manufacturing.
